9AM Broadway Ave – Islip Grange

 

Join us for the 12th Annual Community Ambulance 5k Run and Walk.

The run begins at 9am at the Islip Grange Park in Sayville, NY. The course is a mix of some cross country running through the park and then transitions onto the road. The finish will be back inside the park.

Following the event will be Food, Music and the awards ceremony in the park. Cooling station after the race to chill out.

This event benefits the Community Ambulance Company which serves the 5 towns of Sayville, West Sayville, Bayport, Oakdale and Bohemia. In 2022, the volunteers of Community Ambulance Company answered over 5,600 9-1-1 alarms in our district. Since 2020, the volunteers have been fighting against COVID-19 and continue to help on the front lines and respond to pandemic emergencies. Please show your support for the volunteers of Community Ambulance by participating in this event.

5k Run Details:

Run: Race results will be collected after each event via a form emailed to all participants. Entrants will be on the honor system for submitting their own results. Results will be posted after each race and emailed to participants. Race results must be submitted by 11:59PM on the Sunday of the weekend the race takes place.
